Start with the pivot bolt on the lever perch. If it is too tight, the perch can pinch the lever. Next, see to the cable; lubricate or renew it. One of those issues is the cause of about 98% of stiff clutch problems. If one of those doesn't help, you will need to pull the clutch cover and look for problems inside.
