How can i learn ASP.net and C# programming languages?

How do i acquire new programming languages like C# and ASP.net that are in demand but there are not teaching those languages in school. I check with the schools near where i live and none have any courses with those ASP or C#. If the companies ar e looking for people experienced in these areas and not willing to train, then how do i gain some experience in them?
