I read a lot of paperback books, but they always get damaged in my backpack. I read hardcover books as well, but there are very expensive. I have a JanSport SuperBreak in large (the one with 5 pockets).

How can I keep my paperback books in good condition in my backpack?

I have been really careful with my books in my backpack ever since on of my binders got into one of the paperback books and ripped the entire first page.

How do I keep my paperback books in good condition in my backpack?

keep it in its own pocket.... or just carry them around that's what i have to do or else they get torn

Good question. What I do is just put them in between two heavy books or binders to keep them flat and in the position. I carry a lot of stuff, so it's easy to keep them in that position. That's what I do with my mangas.
Or you can cover them with plastic so they're tougher. If you have seen paperback books covered in some plastic at the school library, just ask the librarian where they get those and you can order the covers. It's easy (I had to cover a lot of books when I helped out at the library.)
Hopefully that helps.

I have a backpack that stores for paperback books, and I can't go out without the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon paperback book. Best book from the Tom Clancy's genre.

Er, on to topic, what I do I just put it in a slot that has a paperback holder, see if you can find one of those backpack's.

Or, you can leave them at home, and when you return. You can read them at the house. Sometimes, I do that too.
