how can i join the military without compromising my job?

i am really wanting to get back into the military. i had previously enlisted in the army and got injured in basic training and was medically discharged (honorable), i am fully recovered and eligible to go back. however i am currently working at this great job, i do not want to let go. is there any way i can join the national guard or army reserves or something, by getting military orders or getting a letter thru a recruiter that would allow me to serve and not lose my current job when i get back from training. also since i had previously enlisted, could i get a letter saying i am being called back to the military or something like that?. i am hoping someone can give me a positive answer....thanks.
