Hi, I'm Cari and I'm 13. I'm very close with this 7 year old boy named Sam.
Sam dislikes art very much. Whenever I offered to color with him or do some art activities with him, he refused the offers and suggested to play something else. Well, one time I sat down with Sam's crayons a a big sheet of paper while Sam ran away to play with one of his fellow friends.
When I showed him the finished creation I made him, he was amazed and even persisted I help him hang it up in his room because he had the perfect spot for it.
Later, when I got home (I was at Sam's house before), my mom got an email from Sam's mother. She said that Sam had drew me a picture. This was the first time in Sam's life that he drew a picture unprompted. I had never felt so happy in my life!
Sam's mother also included that she would pay me to interest Sam into art more because she believes it would be really good for him.
I'd LOVE to do this with Sam, but I have no idea as to what to do with him! please help me!
Also, keep in mind that he doesn't particularly enjoy doing artistic activities, so if you could, list things that are fun but artistic at the same time.
