How can i increase the processor speed on an imac g5?

I don' want to delete any programs and I don't want to purchase a new imac, but I would like to know if there is a way to increase my speed on an imac.

Someone told me I can active only the programs I would like to use often, like suitcase and what it does for fonts.

Any help?

Can you purchase a faster processor speed to install in the computer like installing an air port card?
