I opened my eyes awakened by the annoying noise of my alarm clock. I groaned and forced myself to get out of bed after a few minutes of sleeping in. Life would be a lot more easier if school started at noon. I’d rather live my life and not waste my time sitting in the desk waiting for those boring hours to end and listening to each slow tick of the clock go buy at school.
I opened the bay window and stepped onto the patio. It was six o’clock in the morning and the sun wasn’t up. The atmosphere was kind of gloomy, the sky was a grayish blue color and reflected on the ocean which made everything look grey. The sun hid behind the ocean and you could still see the moon. It felt as if it was night time, not morning. In Phoenix, the sun would already be up. Everything would be bright and sunny. Instead of feeling the ocean breeze, and the cold wind blowing your hair, you would feel the warmth blazing on your skin.
After gazing at the morning sky, I opened the bay windows and stepped inside to get ready for school
I walked into the bathroom to do my hair. I was still half asleep. I wanted to collapse on the rug and catch a few extra Z’s. Or maybe I could stay in bed and pretend to be sick? No. I shouldn’t.
btw, this isnt the whole ch.......
