How can I improve my stamina in basketball?

i play a few 5 on 5 full court games at my local gym every monday wednesday and friday. after im done playing for the day, i go and do weight/machine training. all that training is upper body, but other then that the only thing i do with my legs are lunges (3 sets of 10) with two 10 pound weights.

when i first started, i knew i was outof shape and my chest would start to hurt a little while into the game. but im at the point now where i can play the games fine. i can get up and down the court, run some fast breaks, stop some cherry pickers, but in the half court set ive lost all explosiveness, which makes it hard to drive with the ball or make good cuts. also, the quicker players blow by me easily.

when i first step onto the court, i can explode pretty well. but i cant sustain that for long. does this mean that working on my stamina will help me sustain this explosiveness? please guide me on what routine should do before or after my games on mon/wed/fri to work on my game shape
p.s. also im half black so i have some fast twitch muscle fibers if that helps you help me out
