So my work has this bird. I don't know why but they keep a male blue parakeet in the back office. Recently the top of his head, right above his beak, has become really red and raw. This morning he was bleeding from it. He keeps rubbing it against his ladder and hitting it on his mirror. I thought maybe he was molting but the bleeding has me worried. My boss won't do anything about it and has let the previous one die. I don't have the money to pay for a vet visit but feel bad for the poor thing. He's eating and still singing but he hasn't pooped in awhile. Is there anything I can do to help?
