How can I have my Yamaha PSR-172 work with Ableton Live?

I'm using a Manhattan USB to Midi cable to connect my computer to my keyboard and when I plug it into the computer, it recognizes it as a "USB audio device" and says that it is working and ready, but when I start up Ableton, it doesn't recognize it as a Midi device. Is there some sort of driver I still need to get?
