There are a lot of ways. One is with the use of a polarizer lens. Also, switch your camera to raw and lower saturation in camera to zero. This allows better saturation adjustments and does not distort colors as much when using software such as photoshop. I use a Nikon so I do not know as much about the settings of cannon. I assume they also have a saturation adjustment control in their menu. Also, if you are printing, make sure your color space on your file (Adobe RGB etc.) matches the one for the printer.
