How can I get Splinter Cell (first game) to work with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit?

When I run the game I get an error with two options. First option, Check online for solution and close program, program just closes and no solution is presented. Second option, Close the program. I've tried all the compatibility modes and have had no luck. Here is the error:
