My tv (2006 Polaroid flatscreen) does not have an HDMI input. It does have DVI though, so for video I got an HDMI to DVI cable and the picture looks great. I am told that that cable doesn't carry sound though so I bought an optical cable to go from the ps3 to my receiver. I changed the settings in the ps3 sound options to optical but I'm still getting no sound. Any suggestions?
How can I get sound on my ps3 using an optical cable?
