How can i get rid of the spam mail its a load of rubbish ?

every time i go on line its there if it made sence i wouldn't mind but it doesn't, have any thoughts on this subject i know there is good spam but i wish they would get a life i dont care i just thought i would air my thoughts email if you get the same cr-p [email protected]

One REALLY good way to cut back on unwanted emails is to NOT go posting your actual email address on public forums...

I'm not trying to snide here, it's true. I am CERTAIN you have bought yourself on to at least one more list with this posting..

Spam exists, because Spam works. If I was a spammer (or even a spambot) I'd be looking to send you some emails regarding new spam blocking software... because now I know two things.. you have an email address, and you don;t QUITE know how to keep it secure.

My best advice at this point.. honestly.. would be to sign up for gmail account, and use that for dealing with your friends and family and serious communications and use your yahoo account to ... yup ... collect all the crap you have no intention of reading.

Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and all of the other guys out there are doing there best to filter this stuff, but the bad guys will ALWAYS be one step ahead.. that's life on the intertubes...
 
I've been having the same problem!! Yesterday it started to get bad again with those idiots trying to tell me that I won the lottery and I need to send them my info. As for other spam, the only thing I can figure to do is unsubscribe from the emails using the links at the bottom of the emails.
 
try sending a 100 of these back to ur spammer

You click spam. On my email, if you show it what kinds of mail are spam, it automatically sends similar emails to junk.

Now I only get one or two junk messages a day.
Don't enter your email address on so many sites, for example: Enter this contest, get this, do that, especially a website that's not trusted. They sometimes share your email around in a forwarding list.

There is software you can buy too, but usually that's for companies.
 
What you do is get spam protection, there should be a link somewhere in your email that says 'options' and then you can activate bulk mail folder, and then you can also click block sender, spam, to all the emails that are spam. And also your email gets spammed by posting it on the web, and giving it out to companies, spammers can see it right now. So you also just need to stop giving it out.
