How can i get rid of my *cow-lick*?

I want a side fringe but the hair dresser said it wouldn't work or something because i have a prominent *cow-lick* how do i get rid of it ?

wash your hair and shape them in the way you want and put a clip.
when your hair dries it will remain the way you want it and i hope you get rid of the prominent *cow-lick*
