It was my 15th birthday. My mom told me to get in the car, that we were going somewhere. Excited, and thinking we were going to an amusement park, I got in. To my dismay we arrived at the gynecologist's office.
My mom took me in and told me I was getting a pap smear. I began to cry. Then the doctor called me a cry baby and did the pap smear. It really really hurt!
I'm 30 now and I still have nightmares and get upset about this every day. What can I do?
