How can I get my mom to want to get a dirt bike?

My dad wants a honda crf150, but says its expensive, but my mom says that she doesn't want a dirt bike because she doesn't want us to get hurt because I once almost got killed on an atv. Please give me some suggestions on how to convince my mom to want to get the bike.

if you almost got killed on a atv then you don't need a dirt bike. my kids have both and don't like the dirt bikes as much as atvs.
