How can i get my gecko to eat crickets?

I just bought a female leopard gecko from a reptile show. I've had her for a couple of days and shes eating meal worms and drinking water great. I expected her to not eat for a while, but shes doing fine. She only eats meal worms though. I bought a lot of crickets and they're just sitting there. I'm guessing the breeder kept her on worms. When i leave a cricket in her tank, thinking she will eat it later, it gets in the water and calcium dishes and starts picking on the gecko. How can i get her to eat crickets? She is still a juvenile.
