How can i get my foot in the door for a graphic design job or a photography job?

Im looking for a job in graphic design but dont have experience so im looking for a entry lever job and work my way up. How can i get my foot in the door.
Or photography I have been doing for a while and have experience in that.
I live in MN so if anyone form MN answers this and know where i can get in PLEASE
let me know. These are jobs I would LOVE to have
