My grandmother is fond of many fads, so she chops & changes all of the time as to what she does. Most of these have been harmless but now I am very worried about how she is practicing voodoo medicine & magic.
My little sister had a cough the other day so I was like "oh I have some honey and lemon cough syrup in the medicine cabinet". I went to go get the honey and lemon cough syrup. When I got back I saw my grandmother mixing some Pellegrino water & cinchona bark together.
I queried into what they were doing and they both clarified it for me. My sister was about to drink the mixture when I knocked it out of her hands and dragged her out of my nan's house.
How do I tell my nan that this behaviour is simply unnacceptable?
I don't practice witchcraft
The cough syrup actually tastes really nice, it's lemon & honey flavoured.
But tree bark mixed with water wouldn't taste great
