Lately, my daughter has been really moody and annoyed towards me. I don't know why, but she keeps on saying that I'm over loading her with too much work, and that I need to let her relax. The other day after school, she yelled at me when I told her to set out her work neater and improve her hand writing (it's better than mine but still).
This is hardly fair. She's 13 and she needs to do her share of work. All I do is tell her to cook dinner every second night, keep her room clean and do her own laundry. I also give her three-four hours of school work revision per night, not including the work she's been allocated by teachers. She only does seven hours of dancing a week and four hours of tennis, too. I also don't allow her to go out with friends until she's cleaned the whole house, and she isn't allowed over at sleepovers. Cussing isn't permitted, either.
So why does she think I'm so unfair? Seriously, I'm not being strict at all. I didn't do this much as a kid, but I just want to help her. Too much video games can put kids under stress, after all.
