How can I get my Dad to stop my gym membership?

I wanna stop going to my gym because I don’t see the point in it but if I do that my Dad will just make me do weights with him at home every night. I started going the gym half-way through January 2010 so I have been going for 15.5 months and in the first 2 months my body vastly changed but after that my body has stayed the same. I have only moved up 10KG in weight on any given machine that I use and I recently found out that my body type is not meant for lifting weights and when I tell my Dad that I can’t lift supposedly light things he says ‘all the more reason to go the gym then’ when I have been going for 15.5 months and not made any progress in a year. How can I talk him out of this? He is being so stubborn

If your dad is going to force you to go to the gym, he needs to become a better trainer and pay attention to your lack of progress.

You should consistently make progress in the gym by either gaining muscle or cutting body fat.

If I had to guess, you're probably not eating enough to gain muscle. This is usually what limits people. I doubt it has anything to do with your body type.
