I have a Chinese Qingqi Qm200-2A cruiser style motorbike. Its a 200cc 4 stroke single cylinder engined machine. Its a great little bike but the tick over is all over the place. I adjust the throttle stop screw on the carb to get a steady tick over but after opening the throttle a few times the tick over changes again and is impossible to get right, it also stalls sometimes just after starting off on a journey. I have cleaned out the carb to no avail. It has Electronic ignition so not much to test there. No manual is available for it and parts are also impossible to obtain but many Jinlin parts fit. I really like the bike accept for the tick over problem so Can anyone help, its driving me nuts.

maybe if the tick over speed changes when u rev it it could mean ur throttle is sticking a bit try adjusting the cable by the part thats connected to ur throttle or oil it and also in the carb where the cylinder is it moves up and down when you pull the trottle (your throttle is connected to it) there is a needle and it normally has 5 different settings play about with it and try a number of settings and see if this works
