how can i get more miles per gallon in my 2005 dodge quad cab?

like to know what could be done to get better gas milage ? is there a chip or something that could get me better gas milage
 
A chip would make it worse. Most people simply need to adjust their driving habits. Slowing down, a good tune up, proper tire size & pressure, etc... Remove anything in the bed of the truck & interior. Extra weight causes extra fuel consumption.
 
Several things you can do.Put on dual exhaust make sure to keep the cat converters.A KN air filter, A throttle body spacer, Synthetic motor oil,Add fuel injector Cleaner.Make sure you tires are aired to proper presssure.And finally slow down and avoid fast starts.I have noticed with my 07 Chevy which has all this done that I get better mileage keeping the rpm below 2000.I get 19 mpg on the road.It's a crew cab 4x4.Good Luck.
