I'm about a month into college, and I'm being bombarded with questions about where i'm going in life (University, career etc) and i honestly have no idea. I did quite well in my GCSE's (6A*s, 7As, 1B) and i'm currently doing Physics, Further Maths and Computing. But one of my teachers said to me that i should think of the thing i want most and aim for that.
The thing i want most is to become a games designer, and i've only just recently been told that this could be a possibility for my career. There is a local college in my area that offers Games Design, however it is too late into the College Term to change.
With the courses ive taken at the moment, is there anything i can do to start developing my skills to help me get into Games Designing?
Would my current courses be of any use?
Where can i go after college?
Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated even if it is just the name of a University that offers games design or helpful advice on what sort of things i need to to.
