A close friend of mine needs to have some extensive tests done on a "cyst" on their brain. Due to the economy being so hurt at this time, they lost their job and that included all of their benefits. After working at the same location for over 15 years, they felt that they had job security and didn't feel the need to purchase personal medical insurance outside of work. Now, they are unable to purchase any due to lack of financial stability. However, I am greatly concerned for them and I would like to find out if there is any options to get together the financial meens to pay for the tests that are needed ?
