I'm 20 years old and my parents moved out of state from the college a year ago. My parents are poor and my dad had to take out his pension money from his previous job before he moved to the state he is at now in order to feed the family. The fafsa shows 2 jobs my dad had last year,but he does not have one job anymore since last May. I lost my pell grant because of this and my parents are filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy. My parents tried to help me with summer classes and got denied for parent plus loan. My parents literally have not given me a dime for school and I don't have a place to live. I jump from a friends house to the next until classes start again and I can be at the dorms again. Now I have to pay out of state for this coming year AND I can't get private loans or even keep my pell grant because of my dad's "pension" and him going on bankruptcy (NO CREDIT). I don't want to be a drop out! I only have 3 semesters left. Please help me.
