How can I get aux-in audio from my iPhone 3G in a 2003 Jeep Liberty?

I don't neccesarily need to have a charging dock for the iPhone in the car, I just want to play music in the car through the headphone jack. However, I do not see an aux in port in the car for a cable to plug into from the iPhone. Again, it's a 2003 Jeep Liberty. Also, I would prefer not to use an FM Transmitter of any kind, which is an easy solution for any vehicle. I would like to use an actual wire or cable for an auxillary-in audio connection in this specific car model. Any help please?
I understand that the 2003 Jeep Liberty does not have an aux-in port factory-installed (most old cars don't) but aren't there adapters and other accesories or services that can be used to put such a port in? This is the sort of solution I'm looking for. Thank you.

Do you have cassette player in your car? If so, you can buy a cassette that is design for aux purpose to be used with your ipod/mp3
