We are looking at a home built with much more thought, know-how, superior materials, etc. I think there should be some added value in the quality (not usually seen these days), even though the materials are not "lux", per se. This is a rural area and most of the comparable listings are small farmhouses or lesser saltboxes. Anything else in the area is much less $/ sq. foot (even with comparable acreage). This home is new as well. We want to be fair in our offer, but not overpay. What other metrics could I use / where could I find them.
