I'm coding an HTML document, and I need to use the character é. When I type it into the code it looks fine, but when I save it and look at the document on Firefox or Safari it turns into this character: Ž. This is really annoying, I've tried changing the font and I'm not sure what else I can try. I can't really get away without using this character, (the page is for a French assignment,) so does anyone know how I can get it to show up properly?
