How can I get a new Verizon Wireless phone without renewing my contract?

I am on a 2-year contract with Verizon Wireless and my enV is starting to look kind of beaten up. Is there any way I can buy a new cell from Verizon without renewing my contract?

I know there is the "Upgrade" option. But you have to renew your 2-year contract with them and I dont want to do that.
 
just go to a store, buy the new phone, and switch out the sim card in the back, thats all you have to do.
 
Verizon phones dont have sim cards. what happens is the price is a lot more if u dont renew ur contract. it costs a lot more if u don't renew it. so if price isnt an issue then just buy the phone and have them activate it;) hope i helped:))
