How can I force myself off my butt? (and boost metabolism)?

Hi :) Yeah okay so how can I force myself off my butt and get myself to exercise? When I get home from school, like I do my homework, play just dance with my sister for an hour or so then go on the computer for the rest of the night. I just can't seem to stop...it's like a habit.
I want to set goals or limits or whatever for myself. I have in the past, but I just don't follow them....how do I follow what I want to do?
