how can I fix this cellphone problem?

I have a motorola i335 and connected with (boost mobile) when I try to get a ring tone via bluetooth I get the message "unsupported media type" can anny 1 help plz.
the file I was traying to pass is an mp3 and it sais is ... " unsupported object type! " plz help
 
working for a cell phone company, although not for that one, check online and find out what types of files your phone can play.

Many files can't be transferred over due to copyright issues. Of course online I'm sure people have found ways to convert them and stuff. Depending on your phone, try to get a similar one in MP3 format, put that on your phone, and if ur phone allows you to, set that as a ringtone. Besides that, you'd probably have to just buy it yourself cuz usually you can't transfer copyrighted files.
