How can I fix this car issue, HELP!?

I have a toyota and the problem is when I start my car. When I turn it on, the engine won't start rather there is a humming noise. The lights turn on but the car won't start. (It seems it is trying though) After several tries and minutes it start up and I have no problems. Sometimes it turns on the first time. What's wrong my car? Thank you and have a good one!
 
You should check and replace you fuel filter. If you haven't change your fuel filter in the last couple of years or 40,000 miles you should. Your filter maybe clogged and you fuels pump is struggling to get fuel to your engine. Fuel filters are fairly cheap about $15.00. There has been bad gas going around for awhile and you should never fill up your car when they are filling there tanks. If you pay attention to your mpgs lately you can see when you need to do some maintenance to your car and what you need to do by that. I hope this helps and good luck with your car.
 
I think you have a problem with your fuel pump. That humming noise is your fuel pump turning on, you may need a new one. My brothers mustang did the same thing. Try turning the key to the ON position before cranking it and let it sit there for a couple minutes, then try to start the car and see if that helps. I def. think you need to replace your fuel pump tho.
