How can I fix the problem in iTunes and Windows Media Player?

My computer can play files on the Internet but it cannot play files on Windows Media Player or i Tunes. In Windows Media Player it gives me this error code:C00D11B1 and 80040154. In i Tunes I click on the song but it does not start playing. I do not know what is wrong, I checked the sound devices in My Computer, they are all working properly.
