I have a Gateway MX6625, windows xp os. I did a system restore, and after wards have many yellow question marks in Device Manager under 'other devices.' Among a few other issues. I am missing the following drivers in device manager under other devices-ethernet controller, mass storage controller, network controller, pci controller, video controller, video controller (VGA Compatible). I have also noticed in device manager under network there is no wireless listed. I have wireless on my laptop, but it doesn't show in control panel under network and internet options. I can not get on the internet. Also under power options in control panel there is nothing listed for hibernate, or when I close the laptop for in to hibernate or sleep. I tried to download drivers from the gateway website for wireless lan driver, but it doesn't list it in device manager after I do so.

Could someone please tell me what I should do. Do I need to update the cpu driver, bios or what? I have never had this many yellow question marks in device manager before. Since I can't connect to the internet I cant run windows update or use a website that list my devices manufactures and drivers. I am at a loss here as to what to do next.

It would be great to get connected to the internet it would make this so much easier. How do I find out which Network controller I need or wireless driver to get connected. Any help on all the above issues would be greatly appreciated.
