This wall had very thin wallpaper on it that had to be steamed off. We were told it had been done "professionally" by the former owners. We painted the wall, but there are a lot of scratches, small gouges and other imperfections that still show. I wanted to do a 2nd color of paint with a featherduster, sea sponge, or rag rolling for example, but was told that would not cover the imperfections. I really didn't want to sand the wall and begin from scratch again. Probably should have done that before we painted!
