How can I fix a loud whining noise coming from the rear end of my 1998 5.2L Jeep

Grand Cherokee? Like I said, I own a 1998 5.2L Jeep Grand Cherokee with 120,000 miles. About 20,000 miles ago, a loud whing noise starting coming from the rear end. I had the carrier bearings changed and it seemed to get quieter, but the metallic like noise is still there once I hit about 15 mph and above. If anyone has any answers, that would be great because im getting really tired of listening to it. Thanks.
