How can i find out what some sports cards are worth?

I have a bunch of sports cards and I want to sell them, but I don't know how much any of them are worth. I am a 13 year old girl so they mean nothing to me. Some of them are like, super shiny, and others are just plain but they say olympic hall of fame. Does anybody know how I can find out if any of them are worth something.

p.s. there are a bunch of different types of cards: basketball, baseball, football, olympic sports.
PLEASE help me.
 
If you want to sell your cards, you should probably buy a book, called: 2009 Beckett Price Guide. The only bad part about this is that if you have several types of sports in your card collection, you will need a basketball price guide, baseball price guide, and football price guide. I don't believe there is a price guide for Olympic sport cards. Also, if you find that your cards aren't worth as much as you thought, you should hold on to them for a few more years, and you will find that the prices have increased by a lot!
