how can i find out if i have internet on my phone! (verizon)?

i just got a new phone for my birthday and it has widgets to go online. my dad cant remember if i have the internet adn i dont wanna go on if i dont have it. how can i find out whether i have it or not.

oh and its the verizon rogue.
