I need a cloak for a Halloween costume for this year. It should be nearly floor length, large semi-stiff hood, arm slits, interior pocket(s), satin-like lining and made from a durable material (no velvet or velvet-like materials). It has to be red ... Not too dark and not too bright. Not burgundy or light enough to be pink-ish.
I found a simple pattern, but after sewing it exactly like the pattern, it looked cheap and I'm not a seamstress.
I've looked at some websites, but haven't found anything spectacular.
Can anyone help? I can sew my own if a proper pattern is found. I would also be willing to purchase a pre-made one or work with a real seamstress to make one to my specifications.
