How can I find a good Jeep?

I'm trying to buy a Jeep. My price range is $7500 at the max. I understand that Jeeps are great vehicles, and they keep their price, but all I find in that price range are 80's through 99's. All beat up, and all taken off road. How can I get a newer jeep without paying to much? Or is it hopeless?
