I will be the first, and only kid in my family to get a license at 16. Yay! [I'm the youngest, everyone else is already 18+]
I am getting my license at 16 because I will have to drive to school [I will have to go to a High school campus once a week and a college campus twice a week].
I will need a car as soon as I get my license. I am 13 now [almost 14].
I tutor for 50 an hour, but I only have about 3 clients that I see 1-2 times a week. With my other expenses [primarily my pets] I am not left with much to save. I do not receive an allowance and my parents will not be putting any money into the car I buy. [Understandably so]
Are there any real money earning opportunities for 13/14 year olds' in Nevada?
I volunteer a lot,
I'm 5'8'' so height restrictions aren't present,
and my hours are flexible because I only go to school once a week for 4 hours, this may help because I could work full time.
Do any stores hire at my age? Are there many opportunities?
I'm just looking for tips on how I can have enough money for a car [and insurance], if I don't have the money, I will not be able drive myself to the college, or my high school [I will be attending college and high school at the same time]. If I can not drive myself to the college, I will have to drop out, the high school isn't a big deal because I can do online high school. So, do you have any tips?
Thank you
