I recently found out (through an email from my boss) what my salary is going to be very soon. It's something that for whatever reason, I never even got to negotiate, it was just decided and then I got an email about it. Well, the amount is much less than I was expecting, and I'm extremely disappointed that I was never involved in negotiating it.
This is the first time I will be full time with a salary so I don't know how to approach my boss about it. I have an idea of how I will handle it, and because I have a good relationship with my boss, it won't be uncomfortable or anything but, I'd still love to get some advice on how to discuss it with him. I was expecting a much higher number than was decided and am very let down at the moment...any help would be greatly appreciated!
