How can I direct a web-based movie to Real Player, rather than to the default

Media Player ? We have a grandson graduating from Marine base camp next week. The video, or movie, posted on the Marine web site is not compatible with the Media Player. WE downloaded Real Player, but when we try to open the video, Media Player pops up and we still can't see the video!
 
Some information that could be helpful to answer this question:

What browser are you using?
If it is a public web site, what is the address of the site?
