how can i delete all history?

okay so i have a laptop. sometimes this person comes to fix it of any problems and make sure they are all fixed. if i have history on it and i delete it, is it possible for anyone to see what i looked up? even if i deleted it a long time ago?
 
just hit (menu bar) tools>options look for history and delete all, if in firefox, tools>clear private data, if your using firefox 3.5; tools>clear recent history, before you hit "ok" make sure the up top "time range : everything" and make sure everything is checked in the list of "cookies, cache.....etc"
