How can I delay/put off a car payment until a later date?

I need to get some money together. Is there a way to contact a company like GMAC and delay 1 months payment???

I would simply call customer service and explain my situation. They may take that 1 payement and put it on the back end.

call the customer service number listed on your bill and discuss it with them... they may help you, they may not...
