My husband made a beautiful log bed while he was in high school (a long time ago!) and won a scholarship for it. It has a headboard and foot-board made out of large logs and smaller log spindles. It's really a beautiful bed and I know it would mean a lot to my husband to keep it. But I have ZERO clue how to decorate our bedroom around the log bed since I hate the country look, hate the 'southwest' look, and would prefer something that helps downplay the "log barn" feel. Any suggestions?
How can I decorate my bedroom with a log bed without being too 'country'?
