I recently wrote a calculus 1 midterm. I studied daily for over a month and had my material down solid. I made my own practice midterm and did the test honestly and scored 87%......So i know my stuff. I went to the college yesterday to write the Real Midterm and went in feeling pretty good about my situation. I got my test, went into the room, sat down and looked through the test. 9 questions. OK, should be alright. I go to the curve sketching question first cuz thats my forte. As i start doing the question i notice that I am struggling to remember obvious things. This trend continues for the remainder of the test and I eventually just turn in what I have. I'll be lucky if I pass. So I have now concluded (as this is not the first time this has happened) that i struggle with test anxiety. The thing is though I'm not feeling at all panicked or stressed, my head just goes completely blank and I don't know why. Can somebody shed some light on this and possibly offer some suggestions on how i can deal/fix it?
