First, I need to say: I am NOT looking for something to soothe it/make it hurt less, I'm looking for a way to completely get rid of it. I went to a doctor yesterday, and they said to mix hydrogen peroxide with benadryl (50/50) in cup and gargle, then spit it out. I've done this yesterday and today, and it's been getting worse. They gave me a perscription for amoxicillin, but they want me to heal it with the gargle thing before getting the prescription filled. Should I try the gargling for one more day, or should I get antibiotics, or do you know any way to fix it at home?
